Terms of Participation
These Terms govern participation in the Uptime Interviews expert panel, operated by Uptime Interviews, a division of Albright Research ("we," "us"). By applying to join the panel or participating in a research call, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and apply in your individual, professional capacity. Joining the panel does not create an employment relationship. You participate as an independent contractor.
Participation
Panel membership does not guarantee research opportunities. Every invitation is optional: you may decline any call or any question for any reason. Before you accept a call, we will describe the industry and nature of the client so you can judge whether participation is appropriate for you.
Your Obligations
- Provide accurate information about your background and experience
- Do not disclose confidential or proprietary information belonging to your employer or any third party
- Do not disclose material non-public information about publicly traded companies
- Do not participate in any call that would violate an obligation you owe to your employer or any other party
- Confirm that your participation complies with your employer's policies where applicable
We rely on you to know your own obligations. If you are unsure whether you can discuss a topic, decline the question or the call.
Honoraria and Payment
Honoraria are set per project and communicated before you accept a call. Payment is issued through Tremendous, typically within 24 hours of a completed call. Honoraria are taxable income and you are responsible for your own taxes, whether or not you receive a tax form.
Confidentiality
The identity of our clients and the content of research studies are confidential. You agree not to share information about a study, its sponsor, or its questions with others.
Removal from the Panel
You may leave the panel at any time by emailing us. We may remove any member from the panel at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The panel and this website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your participation in the panel is limited to the honoraria owed to you for completed calls.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
